Appalachian Work Camp

For Parochial Vicar the Rev. Dan Sweeney, the annual Appalachian Work Camp is a labor of love.

For more than 25 years, Father Dan has gathered volunteers and organized a summer trip to one of the poorest areas of the country, Owsley County, Ky. There, he and his team of volunteers spend a week building homes, constructing additions and making repairs.
